After graduation, Steve became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA and was hired at College Park Athletic Club in Deerfield, IL as a fitness specialist. He worked there for 3 years for many junior high, high school and collegiate athletes as well as the public, helping them attain their fitness goals. At this point, Steve realized that he wanted to help people more than he was already doing. He entered National University of Health Sciences (formerly National College of Chiropractic) in Lombard, IL and earned a BS in Human Biology and graduated December of 2005 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Waldo is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Illinois Chiropractic Society, the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In early 2009 he began his two-year studies in Orthopedics and then earned his Diplomate from the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. It comes with great honor to be part of the Professional Sports Care (PSC) Team founded by Dr. Tom LaFountain in 1997. PSC utilizes chiropractic physicians throughout the United States, including Hawaii, to provide services at all 49 PGA Tour Events and 27 Champions Tour Events, including Web.com. Through the course work held at TPC Sawgrass to become a part of the staff, Dr. Waldo has learned the skills, experience, and understanding to efficiently evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate professional and amateur golfers conditions. Dr. Waldo is very excited to combine his career with his passion for golf.
