Chiropractic & Pain Relief Treatments

Our approach to chiropractic treatments goes beyond simply treating where it hurts. We evaluate your symptoms, movement, and goals to determine which treatment or combination of treatments may be most appropriate for you.

Drug-Free Pain Management
Chiropractic care offers effective pain relief without medication.

Improved Mobility
Stiff joints limit your movement and quality of life. Chiropractic adjustments restore normal range of motion.

Enhanced Immune Response
Research suggests that proper spinal alignment supports nervous system function, which plays a role in immune health.

Better Posture
Modern life creates postural problems. Adjustments combined with guidance help you stand taller and feel stronger.

Stress Relief
Spinal tension and misalignment contribute to stress and muscle tightness.

Preventive Care
Regular adjustments maintain spinal health and can prevent injuries and degeneration before they start.

Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic adjustments use targeted, controlled force to help restore movement to restricted joints and improve musculoskeletal function. Treatment may help patients experiencing back pain, neck pain, joint stiffness, mobility limitations, and other musculoskeletal concerns.

Dr. Waldo evaluates your symptoms and movement before recommending chiropractic treatments, allowing care to be tailored to your individual condition and goals.

McKenzie Therapy (MDT)

A Different Approach to Pain

Dr. Steven J. Waldo is one of only ~200 chiropractors worldwide who are fully credentialed in the  McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). An evidence-based system for assessing and managing musculoskeletal conditions.

The McKenzie Method evaluates how symptoms respond to specific movements and positions to help identify patterns and guide treatment. It may be used for conditions involving the back, neck, shoulders, knees, and other extremities, as well as certain cases of sciatica and recurring musculoskeletal pain.

Why McKenzie Therapy Works.

      • Identifies the true source of pain (not just symptoms)
      • Determines the most effective movements for your specific condition
      • Gives you exercises you can do at home to accelerate recovery
      • Teaches you how to prevent recurrence through movement and posture awareness
      • Works for disc injuries, sciatica, chronic back and neck pain, postural problems

SoftWave Therapy

SoftWave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic waves to stimulate biological responses associated with the body’s natural healing processes. The acoustic waves are delivered to targeted areas of injured or painful tissue to help support circulation, tissue repair, and recovery.

SoftWave Therapy may be incorporated into your chiropractic treatment plan for joint pain, tendon injuries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. It can be especially useful when pain or limited mobility is interfering with everyday activities or an active lifestyle.

Treatment requires no injections or surgery, has little to no downtime, and can be used alongside chiropractic treatment, rehabilitation, and other therapies when appropriate.

Massage Therapy

Therapeutic massage can help relieve muscle tension, improve mobility, promote circulation, and support recovery from pain or injury.

Our licensed massage therapists provide personalized treatment and can coordinate with Dr. Waldo when massage is part of a broader chiropractic or rehabilitation plan. Massage may be beneficial for muscle tension, back and neck discomfort, exercise recovery, stress, and mobility concerns.

The Benefits of Therapeutic Massage

      • Relieves muscle tension and tightness that limit your movement
      • Improves circulation and healing, speeding recovery from injury
      • Reduces stress and promotes relaxation
      • Supports injury recovery and rehabilitation
      • Enhances athletic performance and recovery
      • Reduces inflammation and promotes tissue repair

Important: Massage therapy is not billable to insurance.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to deliver targeted light energy to tissue.

This non-invasive treatment is designed to support cellular activity associated with tissue repair, circulation, inflammation, and recovery. Laser therapy may be incorporated into treatment plans for certain acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, tendon problems, and post-injury recovery.

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation focuses on restoring strength, flexibility, mobility, and function following pain or injury.

Dr. Waldo may recommend targeted exercises based on your evaluation, symptoms, and movement patterns. These exercises complement in-office treatment while giving you practical strategies to continue your recovery at home.

The goal is not simply to address current symptoms, but to help you move better and reduce factors that may contribute to recurring problems.
